How to Install Stock Firmware with Mi Flash Tool

Requirements

Before starting, ensure you have:

• Mi Flash Tool (download from the tools tab)

• Firmware to install (can be selected from the Firmware tab)

• Updated Fastboot drivers

Step 1: Download and Prepare the Firmware

Download your desired firmware from the firmware tab and extract the downloaded file to an easily accessible location on your PC.

Step 2: Mi Flash Tool Setup

• Open Mi Flash Tool, click on the Select tab, and navigate to the location where you extracted the firmware

• Select the uncompressed folder and click OK to load the firmware

Step 3: Installation Options

In the bottom right corner of Mi Flash Tool, select one of the following options:

• Clean all: Installs firmware and formats userdata and metadata partitions

• Save user data: Installs firmware without erasing userdata or metadata

• Clean all and lock: Installs firmware, formats userdata and metadata, and locks the bootloader

Step 4: Enter Fastboot Mode

• Turn off your device

• Press and hold the volume down button while connecting the USB cable to your PC

Step 5: Driver Verification

• In Mi Flash Tool, click Refresh to detect the device

• Before clicking Flash, open Device Manager in Windows and ensure the Fastboot driver is up to date

• If the driver isn't updated, go to the Mi Flash Tool guides section and follow the instructions to properly install the driver

Step 6: Installation Process

• Once the driver is verified, click the Flash button in Mi Flash Tool

• Wait for the installation to complete. Installation time may vary depending on your PC's performance

• When finished, the device will automatically restart with the new firmware installed
